The free “Wellness & Fall Prevention Workshop” brought together healthcare professionals, local families, and senior community members to learn practical safety strategies for living independently at home.

The event featured licensed physical and occupational therapists from Aevum, who demonstrated balance exercises, proper use of mobility aids, and techniques for reducing fall risks in common household areas.

Empowering Caregivers and Families

Beyond demonstrations, the workshop provided valuable resources for caregivers—covering topics like recognizing early signs of mobility decline, proper transfer techniques, and ways to make the home environment safer.
